ABOUT

Grace House Adult & Teen Challenge is a faith-centered, adult, long-term, residential, recovery program for individuals struggling with life-controlling addiction.

VISION

Freeing all people from life-controlling issues through the power of Jesus Christ.

MISSION

Our mission is to provide individuals freedom from addiction and other life-controlling issues through Christ-centered solutions.

CORE VALUES

INTEGRITY:

We treat people like Jesus did; with eyes of grace, while speaking the truth.

Mile Marker 1: “I Need Help”

The first and most important step is admitting that there’s a problem and that you need help. It takes courage to be honest with yourself, to ask for help, and finally to accept it.

Mile Marker 2: Commitment – Residential Phase

Our program provides a safe, structured, and peaceful environment for women 18 and older who are ready to commit to 12–18 months of transformation. Our staff are present with students 24/7, ensuring support and accountability.

Students commit to approximately 20 hours per week of work duty to develop essential work and life skills. They also spend about 20 hours per week in the classroom using our curriculum through group and individual studies. These lessons focus on topics such as discovering who I am in Christ, building healthy relationships, conflict resolution, anger management, self-control, and more.

Mile Marker 3: Induction Phase

The journey toward transformation begins here. The first 21 days of the program are often the most intense as you learn to live free from life-controlling issues and addiction. When challenges arise, you will learn to lean on God instead of turning to substances.

During this initial phase, there are no phone calls or in-person visits outside of Grace House. Approved family members may send letters, but this time is meant for deep personal focus and spiritual growth—allowing God to begin His transforming work in you.

Mile Marker 4: Phase One

After your first 21 days, you’ll enter Phase One, which lasts through the fourth month. In this phase, you may have one weekly phone call with approved family members and receive visitors during visiting hours. You’ll continue both your classroom and personal studies while maintaining your work duty responsibilities.

Mile Marker 5: Phase Two

Phase Two covers months five through seven. During this time, students may begin taking scheduled passes, providing an opportunity to visit home and practice living out their new, transformed life. Passes are completely optional. Students continue in their studies and work duties as they grow in faith, responsibility, and maturity.

Mile Marker 6: Phase Three

Phase Three runs from month eight through month twelve. During this time, we pray with each student as they seek God’s direction for life after completion. Our team walks alongside students, helping them prepare to re-enter society with confidence and a strong spiritual foundation.

Mile Marker 7: Completion

Students who complete the program are ready to step back into society equipped with the tools to live in freedom. They’ve developed self-control, are guided daily by the Holy Spirit, and are growing in their personal relationship with Jesus. With accountability and faith, they continue walking in lasting transformation.
